Information pursuant to art. 13 of EU Reg. 679/16 for subscription to the newsletter.
Pursuant to article 13 of European Regulation n.679/16 and in relation to the personal data that we intend to process, we inform you of the following.
• Data controller

• Type of data
With your consent, your common personal data will be processed; in particular your personal data (name and surname) and your e-mail address.
• Purpose and legal basis of the processing
The processing of your personal data will be carried out for:
1. sending information and promotional communications (newsletter).
Galileo Research s.r.l, to send the newsletter, uses the MailChimp platform which is managed by the company The Rocket Science Group LLC, based in the State of Georgia, United States.

The legal basis for this purpose is art. 6.1 lit. a) of the European Regulation n.679/2016, or your express and unequivocal consent.
The right to revoke the consent at any time without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing of the consent before the revocation is reserved for the interested party.
• Communication and data processing
The data may be processed, even without the consent of the interested party, for legal obligations pursuant to article 6.1, letter c of the European Regulation n.679/2016 or to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court, pursuant to pursuant to article 9.2, letter f of the European Regulation n.679/2016.
The personal data relating to the processing in question may be processed by employees who work for and on behalf of Galileo Research s.r.l, in their capacity as persons in charge and/or internal data processors and/or system administrators or by third-party companies they carry out activities in the name and on behalf of the Data Controller, in their capacity as external data processors, pursuant to article 28 of the European Regulation n.679/2016.
Furthermore, such data may in any case be communicated to subjects entitled to request it, such as e.g. the Judicial Authority
The personal data in question are not subject to further communication / or dissemination, with the exception of the subjects previously indicated.
• Transfer of data to Third Countries or International Organizations
For sending the newsletters, the MailChimp platform is used which is managed by the company The Rocket Science Group LLC, based in the State of Georgia, to which we transfer your personal data for the purposes expressed in point 4), i.e., sending newsletters .
The condition of legitimacy of the transfer is established by article 46, second paragraph, lett. c) of the European Regulation n.679/2016 (standard contractual clauses).

• Methods of treatment
The processing may be carried out with or without the aid of electronic or automated means, using technologies, security measures, rules and other procedures (e.g. minimization and pseudonymisation) to protect your personal data from unauthorized access, from improper use, dissemination, loss or destruction, in compliance with the legislation on the processing of personal data, including the applicable provisions and authorizations issued by the Data Protection Authority.
8) Storage period
Personal data will be kept until the data subject withdraws consent.
• Rights of data subjects
Pursuant to articles 15, 16, 17, 18, 20 and 21 of the European Regulation n.679/2016, the interested party has the right to request from the Data Controller access to personal data and the rectification or cancellation of the same or the limitation of treatment concerning him or to oppose their treatment. • Compulsory/optional nature of providing data
The provision of personal data relating to the processing is optional, however failure to provide it will make it impossible for Galileo Research s.r.l to carry out the purpose referred to in point 4), or to subscribe to the newsletter.
• Right to complain
Pursuant to article 77 of European Regulation n.679/2016, the interested party has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if he believes that the processing violates the aforementioned Regulation.
