Data typology
Galileo Research, for the purposes indicated below, may collect:
Common personal data (such as, for example, name, surname, address, tel., fax, e-mail, VAT and Tax Code, IP address).
Data provided voluntarily by the User.
The voluntary and explicit sending of e-mails to the addresses indicated in the various access channels of this site and the compilation of the specifically prepared “formats” involve the subsequent acquisition of the address and data of the sender/user, necessary to respond to your requests .
Navigation data
The processing of personal data of users who only visit the Site (i.e. without sending communications or using any of the services/functions available) is limited to navigation data, i.e. those for which transmission to the Site is necessary for the functioning of the computer systems responsible for managing the Site and Internet communication protocols. This category includes, for example, the IP addresses or the domain of the computer used to visit the Site and other parameters relating to the operating system used by the user to connect to the Site. The Company collects these and other data (such as, for example, the number of visits and the time spent on the Site) only for statistical purposes and anonymously in order to check the functioning of the Site and improve its functionality. Galileo Research s.r.l processes personal data within the limits of what is strictly necessary for the performance of its commercial activity, excluding processing when the purposes pursued can be achieved through anonymous data or methods that allow the data subject to be identified only if necessary .

Data processing takes place both through our website and through other electronic tools, or by paper means, by applying the security measures provided for by the legislation referred to in the European Regulation 2016/679.

Galileo Research s.r.l uses technologies, security measures, rules and other procedures (e.g. minimization and pseudonymisation) to protect users’ personal data from unauthorized access, improper use, dissemination, loss or destruction in compliance with the provisions of articles 25-32 of the European Regulation 2016/679. To ensure data confidentiality, Galileo Research s.r.l uses firewalls and password protection systems that comply with industry standards.
Personal data retention period and criteria used to determine this period
Galileo Research s.r.l keeps your personal data only for the time necessary to process your requests, unless such data must be kept to comply with contractual or legal obligations.
The criterion used to determine the retention period is based on compliance with the legislation established by the European Regulation 2016/679.
Your personal data that is no longer needed is permanently deleted or anonymised.

Rights of the interested parties
Pursuant to articles 15-22 of the European Regulation 2016/679, the interested party has the right to request from the Data Controller access to personal data, the rectification or cancellation of the same or the limitation of the treatment that concern him or to oppose their treatment.
